Reduction of criminality in late teenage years indicated in the age-crime curve was examined in this research. In order to analyze factors of criminality reduction, a follow-up survey over a maximum of 1,612 days was conducted on 1,544 juvenile delinquents who left a juvenile classification home and existence of recidivism (reentry into juvenile classification homes) was investigated to confirm reduction of criminality by gender and age. At the same time, main factors of criminality reduction were examined by understanding the association with the subscales of MJCA. As a result, the reentry rate into juvenile classification homes was 26.0% for boys and 18.3% for girls. When the reentry situation was compared by gender and age, a significant age effect was confirmed for boys, and factors of boys’ recidivism extended into a broader scope than girls’. Furthermore, when factors of recidivism were compared by age in the case of boys, they varied depending on age, suggesting that reduction of criminality resulting from aging is strongly influenced by factors different for each age, not that it varies by the influence of a single main factors.

It is important for students enrolled in a social worker training course to pass the Japanese National Examination for Social Workers. On the other hand, passing the examination is merely a prerequisite for starting a career as a social worker. The author considers that teachers and instructors in a social worker training course need to provide education not only for helping students pass the national examination but also for guiding them to acquire knowledge and skills that allow them to thrive as social workers after graduation. It goes without saying that guiding students to pass the national examination is the premise of the course; however, it is still necessary for students to acquire knowledge of other fields such as medicine, law, aged care, disability care, and family and child welfare, in order for them to survive and thrive as social workers. In this paper, the author reports an example in which active learning was introduced to a class, entitled “Basics of Consultation Support and Specialist Jobs.” The class teaches one of the specialist subjects of the Japanese National Examination for Social Workers. The class is also one of the subjects of a social worker training course, which has been knowledge-oriented to date.

In this study, we focused on the “feeling of fatigue” during pregnancy. Fatigue among pregnant women is often overlooked as a minor problem that occurs during pregnancy and it is often not medically regarded as a problem. To improve the health and comfort of women during pregnancy, we conducted a literature review to understand the actual situation of the feeling of fatigue. Using the online version of the Japan Medical abstracts society, we analyzed 21 publications regarding fatigue in pregnant women. More than 90% of pregnant women feel tired during the entire duration of their pregnancy. The cause of fatigue in pregnant women is often thought to be due to the pregnancy itself and most pregnant women spend their pregnancy feeling tired. We suggest that it is important to understand the actual condition underlying pregnant women’s feelings of fatigue after the second trimester, identify the factors that exacerbate fatigue during pregnancy and assess the relationship between the identified factors and the feelings of fatigue.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of “Seamless Education” using high-performance simulator for students without an attached clinical university hospital. In this study, seamless education is an active clinical nurse education strategy for undergraduate nursing students using high-performance clinical practice simulator that clinical and university work together. The facilitator of seamless education is a Certified Nurse in Emergency Nursing at A Hospital. This investigation was conducted in July 2019, following a qualitative exploratory design using content analysis approach. There were 83 students of University A who were selected to participate through purposive sampling. After the seamless educational experience, the qualitative data were collected using an awareness survey. Analysis of the data revealed four thematic categories, namely “understanding actual nursing practices mimicking those of the clinical settings,” “practices that cannot be experienced in clinical training,” “feeling competent to work as a registered nurse after graduation” and “utilization of knowledge with technologies learned in classroom lectures.” The seamless education that combined the use of high-performance clinical practice simulators and a Certified Nurse in Emergency Nursing led to an experience equivalent to learning in clinical practice. Seamless education led to learning nursing practice that could not be gained through student clinical training for students without an attached clinical university hospital. In addition, it was suggested that “Seamless Education” could be an educational method that complements responses to the problems of current clinical practices.

This time, I worked on making dress which is made use of the print pattern maximally. However, print patterns are generally cheaper than embroidery and pattern weaving, we set it a goal to give the color dress an elegant and luxurious impression to renew that image. Therefore, the print pattern was used for the skirt that occupies a large area in the dress so that it can be appealing, and the design was simple silhouette. While, the black bustier was decorated with chemical lace and rhinestones so as not to be inferior to the flashiness of the skirt. In addition, I made a luxurious sash belt that you can use as you like. The produced dress was presented at the NDK fashion show sponsored by the Japan Design Association and won the design award.

On May 1, 2019, Japan entered the new “Reiwa” era. It is indispensable to look back on the characteristics and issues of the Japanese society of the Heisei era, which was the previous era, as a basic work to look at the Reiwa period. This study provides an overview of Japanese society during the 30 years of the Heisei period from the perspective of the “commodities” that consumers routinely contact and the “society” that includes them. The characteristics and issues of Japan in the Heisei era and the Reiwa era are also reviewed. Section 1 summarizes the meanings of “commodity” and “consumer,” and the four conditions and two-sidedness of the product, touching on the characteristics of Japan in the Heisei period. In section 2, the characteristics of Japanese society in the Heisei period are clarified from the three perspectives of products, retail formats and consumerism, based on the considerations in section 1. In section 3, statistical data are used to confirm the characteristics of Japan in the Heisei period from a macro perspective. Based on the considerations so far, section 4 examines Japanese society during the Reiwa period from six perspectives.
