Developing practical performance ability in classroom has been an important subject in recent years. This research is a case study of one student, and shows how she developed her performance ability in the classroom. The target lesson of this research is Food Selection focusing on "the lesson of pudding" in the home economics class. The goal of this study was to develop the student ability through trail lessons, conferences, and on-site lessons. A student learned the following three things. Results : 1) The teacher must keep quiet and give students a chance to express. 2) The worksheet must leave some rooms for students to think about. 3) Breaking down the completed teaching plan will lead to building of the new class performance. For developing the practical performance ability, repeating the conference after class was effective. In the conference, students shared honest opinions such as "I would do anything to hear the voice of children." Student also abandoned ready-made lessons and developed the new method. Student learned that there is no ending in classroom research.
