As an effective tool for advanced researches of polymers, an integrated database system was developed in the field of
13C-NMR spectroscopy. It consists of three kinds of database, that is, bibliographic informations(CNMRP), numerical data(SHIFT) and spectral figures(ELF). "CNMRP" is a hierertical database, implemented on the DBMS "FAIRS", containing about 1800 records with a memory capacity of 7 MB, based on the references published since 1969 on
13C-NMR of polymers. "SHIFT" is a relational database, implemented on the DBMS, "AIM/RDB", containing chemical shift data and their assignments. described in 14 relations. "ELF" is an electronic data filing system, serves observe
13C-NMR spectral charts for 46 typical synthetic polymers, by retrieving CNMRP as the lower level file. These three kinds of database, "CNMRP", "SHIFT" and "ELF" are interlinked by key numbers, and provides integrated useful informations about
13C-NMR of polymers.
