Chapter 2 of Digital Education for Executives in Small- and Medium-Sized Enterprises series is titled “Learning to Read, Write and Use Personal Computers (PCs).” It goes back to the origins and talks about what has been changed in the workplace since we started using PCs instead of abacuses.
The Japanese manufacturing would rarely survive without top management perspective changes. With the status quo, there is a risk to lower the productivity more, and Japanese leadership should tackle to improve IT employees’ IT literacy. At this rate, we will be further behind in the global market, and be lagging behind foreign companies in the competition.
