“Washitu” has various characteristics. We tested the impression of the ordinary Japanese to the stimulus of 30 interior photos using the SD comparison method. The construct of the image is composed of “Traditional,” “Relaxing,” “Open,” and so on. The second factor, “Relaxing,” is unexpectedly found. The analysis through Multi-Dimensional Scaling clearly shows that one of the Washitu image’s structures is a specific neighborhood pattern of the three zones, namely three interior image types as a taste referring to traditional/western and bright/dark criteria. “Washitu” has a certain power as the resilience to keep the relational harmony of the interior.

THIS STUDY IS BASED ON THEORETICAL ASSUMPTION THAT AN ANALOGY OF POPULATION STRUCTURE, CULTURE AND SO ON EXISTS BETWEEN SOUTH KOREA AND JAPAN. TIME-GAP OF 25 YEARS ON POPULATION STRUCTURE EXIST BETWEEN SOUTH KOREA AND JAPAN. BUT WE HAVE FOUND THAT TIME-GAP EXIST NOT ONLY ON POPULATION STRUCTURE BUT ALSO ON HOUSING CONDITION. IT IS FINAL PURPOSE OF THIS STUDY THAT WE FORECAST HOUSING DEMAND AND SUGGEST A HOUSING POLICY WITH ANALYZING OF CHANGED AND CHANGING POPULATION STRUCTURE OF SOUTH KOREA.
