This study was based on an overall assessment of the landscape of Midori City, including satisfaction, desire to improve landscape elements, interest in and participation in future landscape urban planning initiatives, and various demographic characteristics. Regression analysis was conducted with overall satisfaction with Midori City as the dependent variable and various landscape resources as independent variables. The results showed that 'satisfaction with institutional landscapes' had the greatest impact, exceeding the standard regression coefficients for 'satisfaction with landscapes' and 'satisfaction with natural landscapes'. Furthermore, the generational characteristics were classified into three categories: 18-40 years, 50-60 years, and over 70 years. Similarly, Midori City was divided into three districts: the towns of Kasagake, Omama, and Azuma. Quantification Theory III revealed intergenerational and inter-district characteristics of perceptions of landscape urban planning. This analysis is considered to provide valuable knowledge for shaping the future vision of landscape town planning in Midori City, taking into account the diverse age groups and local preferences and attitudes.
