KOKE-SEARCH, a database search program package for literature relevant to Japanese bryophytes, is described. It includes some Perl 5.8 and Delphi 7.0J-based programs for MS Windows. Instructions for installation of the package and methods for searching the database are described. 文字とWild Cardに代表される特殊文字および繰り返しなどの組み合わせで表現される正規表現を用いて，全文検索が行えるOS非依存の学習用具の構築法と学習者自身が収集する英文CORPUSへの教育実践例を紹介した。FreeBSD, Apache, Perlを用いた著者らの作成した表記の用具の完全な構築方法はInternetで公開されている。当該用具の構築法と活用法に際し，文字符号と行末符号の概念の把握の必要性を指摘した。SCORPと名づけた一般的なWeb Browserを利用するこの用具は，あらゆる分野の英文作成の場面で利用できる有益な自己学習のための計算機を利用した学習用具となる。教育実践上の課題や問題点もいくつか指摘できた。文字符号の認識や正規表現の習熟といった課題はあるが，障害にはならない。むしろ，著作物への配慮と適切な利用が最も大切である。

We created an OPTO-NAVI system as a multi-purpose remote controller for home information appliances based on an augmented reality using image information. The system uses a custom CMOS image sensor with a function for detecting high-speed optical ID signals from home information appliances, which are depicted as icons on the OPTO-NAVI terminal and are superimposed on a scene image. The advantage of the system is that these home information appliances can be intuitively operated, much like window systems. A framework for software and hardware of the OPTO-NAVI system under the networking environment is described. Detection and decoding of ID signals and a method for stable icon-displaying are also described. We show an experimental system with OPTO-NAVI using Hyper-Text Transfer Protocol (HTTP) and demonstrate its basic double-click and drag-and-drop operations.

In this paper, it attaches as a trial and it reports on the LCMS (Learning Contents Management System) introduction. LCMS is a system (mostly Web-based) that is used to author, approve, publish, and manage learning content. We used XOOPS that is one of CMS. XOOPS is a program that allows administrators to easily create dynamic websites with great content and many outstanding features. It is an ideal tool for developing small to large dynamic community websites. It was confirmed not to need expertise, and to be able to do the system management easily.

Webの閲覧行動がZipfの法則に沿うことから, Webのページ重要度の分布がベキ法則を為す具合はWebsiteのリンク構造を定量的に評価すると考えられる. しかし, この分布はリンク構造を再帰的に伝播し, その予測は困難である. 本稿はこの困難を支援するため, リンク構造を可視化するツールを提案する. 提案は, Websiteの制約によるページ重要度としてPageRankに代わるアクセス確率を導出し, この分布とその回帰直線の散布図およびTop_pageを根と見なしてWebドキュメントを木構造に展開した構造を半球面上に写像した透視図の描画である. 透視図では, Webpageはアクセス確率を体積とする球プリミティブ, リンクはWebpage間の遷移量を半径とする円柱プリミティブとする. これらはピッキングにより個々に識別可能であり, アクセス確率あるいは遷移量を閾値としてその可視・不可視(表示要素数)を制御される.

食の安全・安心の基礎となる生産履歴情報は，生産工程を通じて随時記録される必要がある．そのためのアプリケーションやサービスは，スマートフォン，タブレット等の新しいデバイスの登場に対応して，迅速なアップデートと機能の向上が求められている．また，農業従事者の高齢化，経営の大規模化，農業の6次産業化等に対応するため，ユーザビリティ及び機能の向上が求められている．これらのニーズに迅速に対応できるようにするため，生産工程管理の支援を行うクラウドサービス「apras」を開発した．aprasは，JA等の生産者団体での利用を想定している．aprasを利用することで生産工程情報を簡便に入力でき，各生産者団体において情報を共有できる．aprasのユーザは，PC，スマートフォン，手書き入力など好みの手段で入力や閲覧ができる．さらにモバイル機器に接続（内蔵）された分光センサ等からのセンサデータをaprasに格納し，生産履歴情報と統合的に利用する機能も有している．北海道内における8つのJAを対象とした実証試験（ユーザ数は約4,500人）でaprasが不具合なく稼働することを確認した．

In this study, we developed a landscape evaluation system on the Internet and examined feasibility of the system. We also examined validity of utilizing 3D computer graphics images made with a VRML system as a medium for landscape evaluation on the Internet. Using CGI with Perl and the VRML system, the system was developed. We simulated a garden landscape in Chiba University with the VRML system. With three media for representing landscapes (photographs, still images of the VRML system and Walk-through by the VRML system), we conducted an evaluation experiment by semantic differential method on the Internet and analyzed the data of three media with profile analysis respectively. We also examined the level to which the three media represented real landscape. The data analysis results of this study were similar to that of an ordinary evaluation experiment in a laboratory by a projecting same landscape on a screen. In conclusion, the system developed in this study can be practically used for landscape evaluation. Walk-through by the VRML system is an effective medium for landscape evaluation on the Internet.

This paper presents two new types of markers of M-CubITS (M-sequence Multimodal Markers for ITS; M-Cubed for ITS) that is a ground-based positioning system, in order to advance the WYSIWYAS (What You See Is What You Are Suggested) navigation environments providing intuitive guidance. One of the new markers uses warning blocks of textured paving blocks that are often at important points as for pedestrian navigation, for example, the top and bottom of stairs, branch points, and so on. The other uses interlocking blocks that are often at wide spaces, e.g., pavements of plazas, parks, sidewalks and so on. Furthermore, we construct the integrated pedestrian navigation system equipped with the automatic marker-type identification function of the three types of markers (the warning blocks, the interlocking blocks, and the conventional marker using guidance blocks of textured paving blocks) in order to enhance the spatial availability of the whole M-CubITS and the navigation system. Consequently, we show the possibility to advance the WYSIWYAS navigation environments through the performance evaluation and the operation confirmation of the integrated system.
