As a contribution to the theory of electropolishing, we have studied the deformation of microprofile of the copper plate by the indenter of Vickers Hardness Tester. The multiple-beam interferometry is applied for the investigation of microprofile. The results show that the Edwards' diffusion theory is more convenient than the Saito's oxide film theory.
