In this paper, it is considered what kind of significance for adolescents expressions have which are internal and are not turned into words. I discuss how expressions should be interpreted in art education with the terms `monologue' and `non-socialized ego'. Based on thoughts of Tadashi Kawamata and Francis Bacon, I propose that the viewpoint of monologue is indispensable to discuss fine arts. Then, I make the meaning of `secret' for adolescents clear. And thirdly, I refer to thoughts of Norihiro Kato to discuss a concept `non-socialized ego' . Art education should be developed with `desire to utter' as a key concept.
