“Kiosk” is a design system that enables the construction of temporary spaces by means of frame-like structures made up of five different types of joint parts and square woods.
By changing the combination of the joint parts and the square woods (pillars and beams), it is possible to adapt the layout and size of the frame to the conditions of the installation site. At the same time, by designing and using attachment parts, such as shelves and tables, which are attached to the frame, the structure can be given a function that suits the intended use of the space, such as a shop or exhibition space.
By using this design system to design structures and construct temporary spaces, you can realize to adapt the properties and functions of the space according to changes in its intended use.
