The effects of topical treatments with five concentrations (0.00001 mg/ml, 0.01 mg/ml, 0.1 mg/ml, 1 mg/ml and 10 mg/ml) of cyromazine on Ceratitis capitata WIED. (Dip., Tephritidae) and indirect effects of these treatments on a larval parasitoid, Opius concolor SZEPL. (Hym., Braconidae), were studied. The results obtained showed that topical treatments on the third larval stadium of C. capitata did not affect the development. Further, at the concentrations used here, cyromazine did not affect the development or parasitism of O. concolor.
