抄録
The information has been accumulated on the participation of cell and organella membranes to biological processes such as hormonal integration, active transport, nerve impulse propagation and energy transduction. Application of fluorescence probes to obtain a better understanding of the structure and dynamics of membrane has already provided useful information, but is still in its infancy, partly due to our insufficient knowledge on the whole processes in a fluorescent molecule taking place during its excited state.
