The purpose of this study is try to find the relation between housing-planning and dwelling-style of the aged who live in Silver-pia-Housing. The following are the results : (1)There are many dwelling life activity in Japanese style room (WASHITSU) of 1DK for single househood of the aged (sleeping 98.2%, staying 78.9%, and mealing 50.5%). (2)The aged use dinning-kithen (DK) for staying and mealing a lot, if dinning-kithen is more larger or disposed on good-situation. (3)In 2DK (for husband-wife), western style room (YOSHITSU) is smaller than WASHITSU, so more of the couples use WASHITSU by mattress for sleeping but not YOUSITU by bed. Nevertheless, WASHITSU is too small to sleep by mattress for aged man and his wife. (4)The aged residents use the same place (DK or room) for staying and mealing. So we suggest LDK (living-dinning-kitchen) is suitable for the aged's dwelling life.
