This paper analyzes the human behavior in the Shindo7 area by the house-types made up from a questionnaire survey of the 1995 Hyogo-ken Nanbu Earthquake. There were differences between the behavior in a wooden detached house and behavior in an apartment house, mainly constructed by steel or reinforced concrete. And the meanings in the selected behavior items corresponded to the characteristics of the house-types. Disaster measures and training methods have to be prepared by the each house-type.
