This study aims to clariffy current condition of cooperative work of maintenance and manegement in local settlements, and also to investigate factors causing differences in such tasks in each settlements. Earning basical knowledge over them was intenced. Clarified results are as follows. 1)Circumstances of tasks was clarified through continuously comparing each patterned settlements. 2)Geographical features is the base of system of water utilization, influencing the presence of reservoir or water way of common use. Such factor do relates to organization over water utilization and influencing task contents. 3)Small organizations in settlements do influence task contents.
