We made clear the importance of the equipment conditions in the large scale exercise rooms. (1) By questionnaires, both the architectural and the actual conditions are surveyed and investigated. (2) We also investigated on the activities in the room in detail. (3) So, through the analysis of architectural conditions of the hospital, we suggested the possibility of the designing the plan of main exercise room on a large scale by the arrangement of apparatus; on the quantity and the distribution into two-dimensional space by the principal co-ordinate analysis based on the movements.
