In this research, spinal cord injurd people were asked about their attributes and items in activities of daily living (ADL). These ADL were analyzed into (degree of independence) and (degree of doing). All ADL were evaluated in these two standards and the relation between these two standards. The result became clear that the index of (degree of independence) and the index of (degree of doing) made it possible for an architect to design a house in detail for spinal cord injurd people, if he has the only information on the level of injury of the person and a little about his ability in ADL.
