In Japan, it is an important issue to promote school architecture that contributes to enhancing motivation to learn and improving mental health. In this study, the relationship between school environment and motivation to learn / mental health was examined structurally and quantitatively using structural equation modeling (SEM). As a result, the following findings were obtained. The school environments mainly affect the “Living and learning” items of “Behavior and attitude”, which in turn affect the “Emotional and interpersonal” items, which ultimately affect performance. Each element of the school environment has different effects on the student’s learning and life.
