抄録
 The piled-raft foundation has proved to be one of economical foundation. Simplified equations for estimating the behavior of piled-raft foundation were proposed by Randolph, and have been used in the primary design. These equations were estimated on the basis of the elasticity theory with respect to the application of the elastic range and many studies have been proved already. However, ground shows nonlinear behavior even if the external load is small. In this study, applicability of these equations was discussed by considering nonlinear behavior of ground by 3-dimensional finite element analyses.
