Next two pheomena must be considered for the exact structaral analysis of non-linear problem : 1) Material non-linearity; Non-linearities arising from material properties. 2) Geometric non-linearity; Non-linearities caused by large deflections. On this paper, numerical analysis of arbitrary plane steel frames considering above two non-linearities is demonstrated by the Matrix Methods based on the variational principle and the Step by Step Method.
