WAY OF USE AND LIVING OF CORRIDOR OF APARTMENT HOUSES IN HOKKAIDO : Study on the common space design of apartment houses in the northern region(Architectural Planning and Design)

Abstract

Study on the corridor of apartment houses are already done a lot. However, study on the corridor where northern countries were made indoor is seldom still done. In snowy and cold region, it is very important that the corridor has to be made indoor. It may become a community space and spaces which can be used by everyday life. The evaluation to the use and actual condition of a corridor, the consciousness to a corridor, and a corridor enviromment were investigated. The corridor is positioned in everyday life. The original planning theory of apartment houses with unique indoor corridor should be established in the snowy and cold region.
