Abstract
The apartment rate of Taipei metropolitan area is highest in Taiwan, and we focus on the apartment of the private condominium during 1999-2000 in Taipei metropolitan area. The purpose of this paper is to find out the conditions on site, building and dwelling by typology from the view of architecture. The main conclusions are summarized as follows. (D The plane's arrangements are simple and small, but the solid's arrangements or the building shapes are complex. (2) The dwelling's plans are various, the spatial level on bath-units or the balconies are high standard, and have many orifices. R From downtown to suburb, the site areas become larger, the spatial levels of dwelling also become higher standard according to the larger and more complex plane's arrangement, but the solid's arrangement become simpler adversely. (D Finally, we analyzed the relationships between the dwelling's plan, spatial level and building shape in this paper.
