The actual conditions, inhabitants' opinions of the Gangi arcades in Iiyama City were studied. Next, by the investigations of inhabitants' participation at rebuilding of the Gangi arcades in 2001, [land] 5.98m2/site, [money] 30-40 thousand yen/ site, [time] 4-10 times/people were grasped. And inhabitants' contentment were examined. The inhabitants contented with those participation, so the rebuilding of the Gangi, which involved inhabitants' participation, was not linked to discontentment.
