This study is focused on “Day-home” community-care project by neighborhood associations in Fukui city. The purpose of “Day-home” is to prevent nursing care and make companion in region for elderly people. This paper aims to clarify the actual situation of this project, which means the development process, execution and use situation in each district, and its evaluation by staffs. The results are as follows: 1) The participation rate is related to the system of the project. 2) Its rate is low in the urban area, and it is high in suburbs. 3) Staffs evaluate the effect of the project high.
