Abstract
It is considered necessary to hold the spatial visions in community design in common for civic organization in order to carry out community development. The purpose of this paper is to clarify the characters and estimation of the spatial visions. We collected and analyzed 337 spatial visions in 36 districts and we carried out the questionnaires about the estimation of the spatial visions. The results are as follows: 1) The spatial visions are able to classified according to goal, contents, scale, expression into 5 groups. 2) People in the district estimate the spatial visions that show the nature of place.
