It seems to be difficult for owners to maintain their modern historic architectures of important cultural properties from an economic point of view. Active use of those historic buildings can make their owners to continue the business economically. Jiyu Gakuen Myonichikan is introduced in the present study to review how it has been utilized for 10 years since the restoration works. The initial estimation considered in the restoration project was compared with the actual records of the utility. The results of our survey demonstrate that the achievement of the utility during 10 years has been successful as business.
