This study aims to identify a characteristics of the remaining alleys toward the urban traditional houses in the old castle district of Daegu. We examined the topological layout and architectural phenomena in the district. The results are as follows; 1) Topological Depth of remaining alley areas is decreasing from 1920. 2) The alleys with urban traditional house are more winding and has more number of dead ends than that without urban traditional houses. 3) The alley areas with urban traditional houses are included more dead end alleys, with smaller buildings for residential use than that without them.
