This research examines the possibility of institutionalization of the community garden in Japan with reference to the example of City of New York. In City of New York, management of CG has 35 years of accumulation, and the structure of support is established. While the method of the land use of community garden has only public space in Japan, City of New York has many which have an individual division. In this research, the contents of the concrete support in a difference and City of New York of the method of such land use and the management actual condition of community garden were clarified.
