The aim of this study is to clarify the current state and location environment of unused public facilities in Nagano Pref. We researched the actual situation of unused public facilities by questionnaire survey to the 77 municipalities in Nagano Pref. and analyzed location environment of their facilities. As a result, through the analysis about the location of unused facilities, the facilities distribution, population and depopulation situation, we led to the 7 types of location environment that unused facilities are located.
