Abstract

This study proposes a planning technique of the re-organization of elementary school by estimation of the number of students. Firstly, we estimate the number of elementary school students in a local city, and select schools that should be re-organized by index-values. Then, we simulate re-organization. As results, the schools will be re-organized depending on the decrease of students, and the number of re-organized schools will change by the index-values. We also examine the simulation from the point of time span to carry out the re-organization, time span to repair existing buildings and moving time limit of going to school.
