This study describes an architectural survey on the former Institute of Public Health (MINATO CITY LOCAL HISTORY MUSEUM). We conducted surveys on documents, exterior and interior materials, sashes, equipment and structures. We found huge amount of document in the Tokyo Metropolitan Archives, etc. We could see the careful consideration by Yoshikazu UCHIDA in natural ventilation. The exterior finishing materials were lifted. The concrete compressive strength is enough but the neutralization is progressing. These survey results were referenced in the conservation repair work from 2016. We hope this study will be useful for future research on modern architecture before WW II.
