This study clarified the planning process of updating the frame about attracting residence function to historical residential area in Takaoka city, Toyama. Contents of the frame conclude various themes by updating it every year through discussing future vision about specific stock and space. The results are as follows： 1）Environment improvement about stock and space has a role as creating new improvement about other theme or street, stock. 2）The frame like this makes it possible to execute efficiently small environmental improvement witch the residents desire for quality of life.
