District heating and cooling is one of the important ways to promote efficient energy use. In the district heating and cooling area, cooperative operation between the supply side and the demand side and advanced control are indispensable to further improve the energy use efficiency. In this study, we conducted a questionnaire survey of DHC operators nationwide to investigate the actual status of equipment systems and controls, and the status of energy-saving efforts. This study describes the results.
