This report is to consider effective support measures for settlement by investigating the intentions of migrants to persons who wish to migrate to Tottori Prefecture and immigrants to Chizu Town. Effective support measures are (1) utilization of trial housing and town subsidy system and dissemination of advance information. (2) Both persons who wish to migrate and immigrants have relatively low household income before moving and are declining even after moving, so they are unable to pay for housing rent and renovation. Therefore, it is desirable to consider reducing the burden on users, such as making some repairs in advance.
