In this study, we clarified the use of temples and the multi-purpose use including non-religious of the main hall from surveys of temples nationwide as follows;
1) In order to enhance the utilization rate of temples and main halls, it is important to increase the chances to visit.
2) In order to increase the number of visitors to the temple as a familiar existence, proposals for the elderly such as barrier-free measures, the adoption of chair, etc. were made.
