This study clarified the significance and issues of cooperation between vacant house utilization and high school education which is targeting the comprehensive study conducted at Mikuni High School through effect verification of the actual situation of the vacant house utilization program in collaboration with the community and the practice of the initial stage.
Until now, utilization of vacant houses has not progressed. However, it was clarified that this program functions effectively as an initial stage to involve vacant house owners in community development from the viewpoints of community contribution to high school education and light burden experiment by short-term use.
