This study aims to understand the behaviors assumed when a typhoon approaches the elderly living in Setagaya Ward. Using an official survey table called “My Timeline,” we asked the elderly to fill out their behavior according to alert level. As a result of text mining analysis of the free description, the behavior related to “meteorological information gathering” increased sharply at alert level 2. On the other hand, the behavior related to “emergency kit preparation” was about 40% at the time of alert level 1, but it tended to decrease after that.
