Binder using ground granulated blast-furnace slag with specific surface area 20000cm2/g (GGBS20000) for ultra-high strength concrete were examined. As a result, it was possible to improve flowability of ultra-high strength mortar by use of proposal binder using GGBS20000. And proposal binder using GGBS20000 also had the effect on improvement of early-age strength of mortar. However, binder which used silica fume was more effective than proposal binder using GGBS20000 to produce mortar with high long-term strength.
