Since 1999, the number of required credits in Domestic Science in high school education has decreased from four to two. The authors sent out questionnaires to Chiba Prefecture Domestic Science high school teachers. They analyzed the result of the questionnaires and how the contents of lesson would be changed in accordance with the number of lesson hours. They also tried to find out the relationship between the contents of classroom lectures and practical training, hoping that the usual lessons and practical lessons would be unified in a better positive outlook.
