Abstract

The objective of this paper is to optimise the geometry to maximise the stiffness of a single-layer lattice shell structure designed as a large-space structure with free curved surfaces, independent of geometrical formulae, and to create a form that can fully demonstrate the mechanical capabilities of the structure. Specifically, their effectiveness is demonstrated by maximising the stiffness and making the member length uniform using the traction method under the constraints on the member length.
