When performing microtremor measurements on traditional wooden buildings, it can be difficult to install sensors. This study aims to propose a non-contact microtremor measurement method for tradition wooden buildings using a Laser Doppler Velocimeter (LDV). First, we summarized the LDV measurement system and waveform processing method. Next, we examined the non-contact microtremor measurement method to measure one building of Tofukuji Temple as an example. Then, accuracy of LDV measurement results was verified by comparing the LDV measurement results with the accelerometer results. Furthermore, examples of measurements made on other buildings in Tofukuji Temple were also presented.
