In this study, we analyzed the characteristics of modular coordination in historical industrialized housing case studies, focusing on the joints between different parts. In the joints between floors and walls, the wall panels were supported on attached foundations, or the wall panels were face-mounted on the outside of the grid, and the corners were pressed down by battens. For the roof-wall connection, an additional row of roof panels or a half-grid shift was used to allow the roof panels to protrude from the roof to provide rain protection for the roof.
