This study intends to find some essential factors of their success from the similarities. This study also aims to gain helpful knowledge for ARCHITECTS & BUILDING ENGINEERS who support MACHIDUKURI activities by classifying those organizations into several groups according to the leading members and specifying features of each group. They work differently, for the activities' leading members differ ; there are some cases in which energetic citizens lead the activities; at some cases administrations lead them systematically. At other cases, they can get a certain successful result by focusing their aims on MACHIDUKURI activities.
