Procedures for the probabilistic seismic risk evaluation of buildings are developed. They consist of the seismic hazard assessment, the evaluation of the structural fragility and the economic loss estimation. The loss estimation due to fire following earthquakes and the portfolio seismic risk evaluation are also discussed. The seismic risk curve which shows a relation between the economic loss and its annual probability of exceedance is obtained as results. Case studies by using the proposed procedures are demonstrated.
