The pair type residence for investigation is a residence planned and built for the purpose of the habitation of next doors of parents and children. However, the gap was looked between planned intention and the residential consciousness of the tenant, and it became clear that dividing house doesn't work very well. It is hard to accept socially that make a parent household live in a narrow old-man room and a child household uses large space. It is reflected deeply that the feature of the South Korean society which is not seen in a foreign country the housing occupancy custom of "JEONSE" is applied also in this object residence on this investigation
