The contemporary Latin Quarter in Alexandria contains a potential human activity of the royal Ptolemaic district (332-31 BC), which was identified based on historic maps and previous archaeological information. The scope area was investigated using the Russian system LOZA-V GPR technique, with a focus on Khartoum Square, Sultan Hussain, and Champollion.

Visualization of the potential urban and architectural remains explored in Khartoum Square represents an outstanding value to the tourism industry in Alexandria similar to Le Domus Romane di Palazzo Valentini in Rome, taking into account Egypt's vision, NSDS 2030.
