Abstract
This paper clarifies the current state of paddy production and rice distribution under the “three-industrial harmonization” in Xinli Town, Panjin City, Liaoning Province, China. This study is based on analyses of field survey data mainly for Panjin Kanghe Ecological Agriculture Co., Ltd. The results of the analysis are as follows. The harmonization of the three industries has promoted the upscaling of paddy production. The distribution of rice has changed from multistage to direct distribution, between producers and consumers, through the sixth industrialization model. Cooperation among agriculture, manufacturing and commerce has revitalized the rural area. The new model of farmer's land subleasing has created opportunities for farmers to increase income through re-employment. The above results show that the development and convergence of the “three-industrial harmonization” is of great significance in enhancing efficient paddy production and rice distribution in Xinli Town.
