A solid complex of manganese picrate with N-methyl-2-{2′-[(methylphenylcarbamoyl)methoxy][1,1′]binaphthalenyl-2-yloxy}-N-phenylacetamide, (L), was studied by X-ray diffraction methods. The molecular structure shows that the Mn(II) ion is six-coordinated by four oxygen atoms from the L and two from two unidentate picrates.
