The research analyzed the variety and the limit of the company dealing with a voluntary environment activity inductively. So, I implemented semi structured interview for many companies to verify based on the multilateral index about the problem. As a result of the investigation, In addition to the actual performance of environment activity, common data about the organization characteristic with 15 items was collected from the 13 companies on Hokuriku and another area. It was suggested from the research that 1) The beginning of the environment activity wasn't easy for the company which didn't have the results of the activity practice at present, 2) There is possibility that the reinforcement of the leadership in the company and the feedback of the activity evaluation could develop an environment activity.
