抄録

The purpose of this study is to define the contemporary significance of art education through drawing expression that stimulates integration of the senses of sight and touch as the way of fostering children's sensitivity to sympathize with the others.
First, the significance of integration of the senses of sight and touch for fostering children's sensitivity to sympathize with the others was defined.
Second, what art education through drawing expression that stimulates integration of the sense of sight and touch was studied.
In addition, an example of the teaching material of this education was presented. And, the result of the practice was verified.
As the conclusion, this practice showed the possibility for the effective way of the education. Then the problem and prospect of this education were treated.
